Experience

Serge is a well rounded and experienced senior executive with 30 years’ experience of working for large and complex organisations. He is a Certified Practicing Engineer (CPEng) with the Institution of Engineers Australia.

Serge started his career with Lend Lease and quickly moved up the organisation as a project manager, operations manager and project director, finally becoming the CIO for IBM Global Services, before being headhunted for a similar role with SITEL in Japan. Lend Lease’s philosophy had a significant impact on Serge. It encouraged people to think laterally to find better solutions. It was a challenging environment that supported excellence in leadership and project management.

Serge draws on this experience and brings pragmatic thinking, management disciplines and personal mastery to his coaching. He is versatile and capable of working across different organisations and industry sectors, and he has an enviable array of contacts and colleagues.

His specialty is working on complex business challenges. He has eight years experience of coaching and consulting at senior levels for organisations such as Westpac, Commonwealth Bank, Foxtel, Energy Australia, Macquarie Bank & Telstra. He has developed a reputation for being thorough and thoughtful and willing to challenge assumptions to achieve best possible outcomes.

Serge is also an accomplished facilitator of workshops and strategic planning sessions and was a subject leader for the Project Management postgraduate program at the University of Sydney.

Serge is the Chairman of MTC Work Solutions, a $50m not-for-profit organisation, an owner of a small business and a director of several private organisations.
Personal interests include spending time with his wife and four sons, sailing, rowing, golf, tennis, music and cycling. He is a member of the Drummoyne Sailing Club, the North Ryde Golf Club and a life member of the Sydney Rowing Club.
