Experience

Peter is motivated by his passion for team work and derives professional satisfaction from delivering comprehensive, workable and commercially savvy solutions to problems. It was in his first full-time job at La Trobe University, conducting research and teaching, that he discovered the joy of communicating and extending concepts and ideas to adults, and sharing in the pleasure of their new-found knowledge. Later as a research scientist he consolidated his skills in problem solving and developing and extending practical solutions to problems.

In 1990 he undertook further study and subsequently joined the Boston Consulting Group, working with major corporations and government departments in organisational effectiveness and strategy development.

Over time he missed being involved in the implementation of recommendations to clients, so in 1993 he decided to go it alone, working one-on-one with clients. Answerable directly to his clients, he has flourished, developing long-term relationships and working closely with executives in the delivery of challenging professional change at a corporate and personal level. His current role with the dairy industry requires domestic and international involvement with food and service industry executives, senior levels of government and politicians. It also reflects his long-term commitment to Australian agriculture and his passion for food.

Peter’s personable and adaptable style has been effective in helping clients in fields as diverse as engineering, biotechnology, defence, management information, asset and infrastructure management, and financial services.
