Experience

Peter has had over 30' years experience in all aspects of accounting and finance. He commenced with Price Waterhouse in 1974, and worked for Foster's Group Limited between 1982 and 1994, as Executive Director Group Accounting and Executive Director Strategy.

He has seven years' experience as a CFO, first for United Energy Limited and then Utilicorp United Inc. He completed his corporate experience a CEO of the Australasian operations of Utilicorp Inc.

Peter’s broad commercial experience includes developing strategies for new businesses, restructuring organisations that also require culture change, managing acquisitions involving equity and debt funding and developing initiatives to grow earnings.

Peter is the director of six private companies in the infrastructure and utility sector and the director of one listed company, Norfolk Group Limited. Peter is also chairman of five audit & risk committees and the Chairman of one company’s remuneration committee.

He is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

His coaching experience has been developed by coaching staff reporting to him, managing organisational restructuring, working with executives on the implementation of consulting recommendations and as an instructor with Price Waterhouse in their Continuing Education team.
