Whyte & Coaches specialises in Executive coaching, Team coaching, Group coaching, Management training & facilitating behavioural change.

In business since 2001, Whyte & Coaches was one of the first coaching groups in the world to emerge from research undertaken at a university, and one of the first in Australia to focus on an evidence-based approach to getting results.

Whyte & Coaches was formed by Ann Whyte following research undertaken during a sabbatical year at the Australian Graduate School of Management. It grew from observing executives like herself struggling to consistently improve performance. Drawing on her background in adult learning and sociology, Ann collaborated with organisations undergoing performance improvement programs to ensure they achieved tangible and relevant outcomes. The success of the trials gave birth to the Performance Coaching concept. Since then the practice has grown considerably, enriched by the diverse talent and experience of the coaches.

There are now more than 30 of us working together across Australia coming from different industries and different backgrounds, yet sharing three things in common, captured in our ‘trifecta’.

Ann is currently the Chair of Standards Australia Human Resources and Employment Committee and contributing to the development of standards for coaching.
