Experience

Amanda has over 28 years of corporate experience working extensively with CEOs, senior executives, managers and teams in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Her career commenced with Ernst & Young where she worked for 20 years in Australia, the UK, USA and Canada Initially working in the audit field, she soon moved to a national role where she helped lead technology and knowledge management implementations, managed key stakeholder relationships across the firm, provided coaching and mentoring to staff and partners, facilitated leadership programs and participated in and managed a range of change management projects.

Amanda moved to Canberra in 2000 with Ernst & Young to help manage a change initiative for the Australian National Audit Office. She left the firm as a senior manager in 2003 to establish her consultancy, which provides executive coaching, team coaching, facilitation and mentoring. She also volunteers for a number of not-for-profit organisations and schools by providing coaching and facilitation services.

Her primary focus is in supporting people and teams to create the conditions in which the1r work can be fulfilling, meaningful and rewarding. Amanda specialises in promoting dialogue and reflection and uses strengths-based, solutions-focused approaches. Amanda brings a sensitivity and presence to the coaching relationship in which clients can safely engage in reflective conversations which lead to understanding, exploration, learning and insights.
