Patti comes to coaching with practical experience as a Director and Co-Founder of a successful software IT Company in the Australasian Health Sector.

Her experience inspired her to want to work with other leaders challenged by the constant pressures of integrating life and work design. After the company was sold she trained as a Leadership Coach and has worked as an external coach delivering one to one coaching across a multitude of different sectors within Australasia.

She works closely with the organisation and their developing leaders to ensure that the coaching plan is intrinsically linked to the business culture and performance outcomes. Patti is particularly interested in working towards Wisdom in Leadership to enable and engage her clients to integrate their personal wisdom, values and mindfulness tools towards their leadership effectiveness.

During the last ten years Patti has worked closely with the International Coach Federation, as her Professional Body, in various leadership roles.  She was on the ICF Australasian Board as Director of Membership for 5 years and in 2009 took on the Presidency/Chair of the ICF Australasian Board.  This was a time of huge change in organisational and financial structure for over 1200 coach members throughout Australasia.  Patti led the Board and the members representing New Zealand and Australia through a collaborative process of consultation and eventual delivery of a robust and future focused membership capability model.

Patti is an external Advisor and Assessor with the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC). She is also a WABC Award Board Member accrediting Global Coach Training Programs.

Patti has travelled extensively overseas, but always based herself in New Zealand.  She was raised in the South but has spent most of her adult life in the North Island.  Patti designed her life and work over the last thirteen years to enable her to be flexible, free and mobile.  She met her husband Ian in New Zealand after he moved from South Africa.  She and Ian travel to South Africa regularly to visit friends and Ian’s family and particularly her step grandchildren.   She is very committed to ensuring that she role models her Life and Work Design model.  Ian and Patti live in a rural community just out of Auckland where they live on 13 acres of native bush with their two miniature schnauzers, Bella and Biddy.
